We use a wide range of tools—including education, monitoring, investigation, and legal representation—to advance that mission. As Colorado’s Protection and Advocacy agency, we aim to secure their rights and improve their well-being.

DLC relies largely on federal grants to fund our work. Since those funds are limited, we try to use them to help as many people as possible—changing Colorado for the better. Each year, we seek advice from Coloradans to shape our annual priorities:

Disability Law Colorado would like you to inform our organization as to where we should focus our advocacy and legal work for the following year. The Board of Directors, Staff Members, and our Mental Health Advisory Council (formerly PAIMI) review your feedback annually to understand where DLC can have the most impact with our limited resources.
