
Morgan Hecht joined Disability Law Colorado in April 2025. Before joining DLC, Morgan spent nearly a decade in the federal government at the US Department of Transportation enforcing civil rights laws, where she led investigations under the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act, developed national compliance initiatives, and provided policy guidance and training to public agencies across the country.
Her passion for disability justice is rooted in her family experience and deepened by her early work as a social worker supporting survivors of domestic violence. Morgan is a graduate of UCLA School of Law, where she specialized in Public Interest Law & Policy and Critical Race Studies.
