Disability Law Colorado is presenting a free training regarding the rules that apply when a child is restrained in school. We recommend that all parents/guardians of children with disabilities attend this workshop.
The training will focus on the legal requirements of school districts regarding seclusion and physical restraint. There will be time for Q&A.
We can arrange for interpretation services (ASL, other languages) as needed. Please make sure to include your interpretation or other needs when registering for the training, so that we can prepare accordingly.

Disability Law Colorado presentará un taller gratis sobre las reglas que aplican cuando es necesario restringir a un niño en la escuela. Se recomienda que todo padre/guardian de un niño con necesidades especiales asista a este taller.
Se hablará de los requerimientos legales que tienen los distritos escolares en cuanto al encierro y restricción como medida disciplinaria para estudiantes con discapacidades. Habrá tiempo para hacer preguntas.
Si requiere traducción al español durante el taller, favor de avisarnos al inscribirse para que podamos asegurarle un traductor.
