Disability Law Colorado Welcomes Five New Board Members

Disability Law Colorado (DLC) proudly announces the appointment of five new members to its Board of Directors. They bring a wealth of expertise in advocacy, finance, community organizing, and public policy, strengthening DLC’s efforts to protect the rights and dignity of individuals with disabilities across Colorado. Most notably, several of these members embody DLC’s commitment to ensuring that its leadership includes individuals with the lived experience of disability, reinforcing the organization’s mission to advocate for and empower the disability community.

Cody Bair, CPA
A tax services specialist, Cody Bair is a Manager at PwC US Tax LLP in Denver, where he leads a team focused on research and development tax credits. His deep experience in financial oversight and his role as Treasurer of the National Federation of the Blind of Colorado will support DLC’s financial strategies and resource development initiatives.

Rob Bingham
Rob Bingham, Development Director at Tepeyac Community Health Center, is deeply
committed to advocating for disability rights. A service-connected disabled veteran and former Board President of the Colorado Veterans Project, Rob brings extensive fundraising and strategic leadership experience to the board.

Dr. Claudia L. Folska, PhD
Dr. Claudia Folska is the co-founder of All-Access Transit Solutions, and a two-term elected Director of the Regional Transportation District (RTD). With a dual Ph.D. in Urban Planning and Cognitive Science, Dr. Folska is an expert in accessible transportation solutions, bringing a vital public policy perspective to the board’s efforts.

Nicole McWhirter
Nicole McWhirter is a strategic planning consultant and Principal at Quorsum. With over 15 years of experience in strategic and operational excellence, she has led transformative planning initiatives for numerous organizations. Nicole’s passion for diversity, equity, and inclusion will enhance DLC’s outreach efforts.

Craig Towler
Craig Towler is a community organizer and founder of Amputee Concierge, LLC, a platform dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities. After a life-changing accident,
Craig became an advocate for disability rights and public policy, focusing on grassroots advocacy and empowerment through self-advocacy.

DLC Board President Sarah Bhagwandin expressed enthusiasm about the appointments, stating: 
“We are honored to welcome these five accomplished individuals to our Board of Directors. Their diverse expertise and passion for disability rights will undoubtedly strengthen our advocacy work and help expand our reach across the state.”
